The Expertise Behind Every Assessment
Every BookkeepingIQ assessment is designed, proctored, and evaluated by an experienced bookkeeping professional, not an algorithm.
Jenny Luchsinger
MEET THE FOUNDER
For more than 30 years, Jenny has built her career around bookkeeping. As the owner of Accountable Bookkeeping, she has spent decades helping clients, managing bookkeeping professionals, and navigating the hiring process firsthand.
That experience has shown her just how difficult it can be to evaluate a candidate's true abilities based on a resume or interview alone, which is exactly why she created BookkeepingIQ.
Why BookkeepingIQ Exists
Jenny created BookkeepingIQ because she believed there should be a better way to evaluate bookkeeping candidates before they join a team.
Instead of relying on assumptions, firms deserve an opportunity to see how candidates perform in a real bookkeeping environment before making a hiring decision. Candidates also deserve an opportunity to showcase their skillsets and provide a potential employer with not only a resume, but verification to back it up.
BookkeepingIQ provides that missing step between the interview and the offer.
Why Firms Trust BookkeepingIQ
✔ 30+ years of bookkeeping experience
✔ Experience hiring, training, and managing bookkeeping professionals
✔ Real-world QuickBooks and accounting expertise
✔ Live-proctored assessments that verify candidate performance
✔ Detailed written evaluations, not automated scoring alone
✔ Personalized service and expert insight throughout the process
We Don't Just Test Candidates.
We Verify Skills.
Many assessment platforms rely on multiple-choice questions or automated scoring.
BookkeepingIQ takes a different approach.
Candidates complete real bookkeeping tasks while being observed in a live testing environment. The result is a clearer picture of their technical abilities, attention to detail, efficiency, and overall readiness for the role.
Success Stories
I’ve used Jenny’s QBO assessment service several times, and it’s been one of the highest ROI decisions in our hiring process.
Her assessments helped us avoid multiple candidates who looked strong on paper and interviewed well, but ultimately weren’t the right fit. They do a great job of uncovering not just technical gaps, but also soft skill shortcomings like preparation, follow-through, and attention to detail.
This is a small investment compared to the time and disruption of a bad hire. It saved us weeks, if not months, of frustration.
Just as importantly, her process gave me confidence when I did find the right candidate. The hire I made last June has worked out very well, and I’m now using her service again with confidence.
Highly recommend for anyone hiring for QBO or bookkeeping roles.

This company does an amazing job with bookkeeping assessments. As a business owner, I've used them over and over this year and helped me dodge some not so good candidates. Thank you Jenny from the bottom of my heart!!!

Jenny Luchsinger at Accountable Bookkeeping LLC has created a game-changing QuickBooks Online (QBO) assessment that takes the guesswork out of hiring. Her practical, proctored QBO exam accurately evaluates a candidate’s real-world ability to navigate and use QuickBooks Online, not just talk about it.
So many applicants claim QBO experience or hold a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification, but that doesn’t always translate into true proficiency. Jenny’s QBO skills assessment clearly identifies where candidates excel and where they struggle, giving you real insight before you make a hire.
This tool has been an absolute game changer for our firm, Luma Accounting. If you’re a bookkeeping or accounting firm looking to improve your hiring process and ensure true QBO expertise, Accountable Bookkeeping’s QBO assessments are a must. Highly recommend!
